Health Benefits of Drinking Organic Tea from Himalayan Blends

Health Benefits of Drinking Organic Tea from Himalayan Blends

Our teas are hand-plucked and hand-rolled, sourced from Siddhadevi Tea Estate. These unique teas are grown at incredible altitudes—7,600 feet in the heights of Ilam—and their flavor profiles stand out completely as a result. The Estate swept the competition and won three awards in the 2024 World Tea Expo in Las Vegas: Grand Champion, Best Liquor, and Best White Tea. We are proud to source our tea directly from the Estate and provide it to you, fresh at your doorstep.

Health Benefits of Drinking White Tea

Our white tea is sweet to the taste with a floral aroma. Made from succulent one leaf and a bud, it is plucked with utmost care to avoid bruising. Our roasted white tea has a delicate scent and a mellow, sweet, gold-colored liquor.

This tea is hand-picked and hand-rolled by our farmers, grown with traditional orthodox methods, and boasts several key health benefits:

  • Rich in antioxidants, essential oils & polyphenols due to being grown in high altitude
  • Cancer fighting properties with long-term daily consumption
  • Helps to improve gut health
  • Helps regulate blood sugar
  • Helps to lower bad cholesterol (LDL)

Health Benefits of Drinking Green Tea

Our green tea contains notes of green walnut accompanied by earthy and nutty flavor. Lightly rolled and hand-sorted, our green tea has a soft and palatable liquor and is carefully handled so that the leaf remains whole.

The liquor is a glistening greenish yellow color, and the tea itself carries additional benefits:

  • Rich in antioxidants, essential oils & polyphenols due to being grown in high altitude
  • Cancer fighting properties with long-term daily consumption
  • Helps to improve gut health
  • Helps to lose weight when supplemented with a proper diet
  • Helps regulate blood sugar
  • Helps to lower bad cholesterol (LDL)
  • Can help improve oral teeth health

Health Benefits of Drinking Hand-Rolled Black Tea

Unique with its fiery red liquor, our hand-rolled black tea carries floral notes and pronounced red berry with a hint of cacao! Picked from wild tea trees and oxidized in the sun, this hand-rolled, hand-sorted tea is only made during the second and Autumn flushes.

The hand-rolled black tea and the white tea have similar health benefits:

  • Rich in antioxidants, essential oils & polyphenols due to being grown in high altitude
  • Cancer fighting properties with long-term daily consumption
  • Helps to improve gut health
  • Helps regulate blood sugar
  • Helps to lower bad cholesterol (LDL)

Health Benefits of Drinking Oolong Tea

Floral and fruity with a peach-like aroma, our oolong tea possesses a scintillating dark green-yellow liquor. Finely plucked from selected clones, this tea is made using rudimentary methods: It is bruised on bamboo mats and allowed to oxidize slowly at room temperature until a sweet, fruity aroma is emitted. This hand-sorted tea is then lightly rolled and dried.

The oolong tea and the green tea have similar health benefits:

  • Rich in antioxidants, essential oils & polyphenols due to being grown in high altitude
  • Cancer fighting properties with long-term daily consumption
  • Helps to improve gut health
  • Helps to lose weight when supplemented with a proper diet
  • Helps regulate blood sugar
  • Helps to lower bad cholesterol (LDL)
  • Can help improve oral teeth health
